BibleZip
New BibleZip Updates
BibleZip is built so you can move through the text and come back to the same place. A neutral translation is planned, one that does not carry the later theological changes.
Coming up next A neutral translation is the plan
Summary
BibleZip is presented as a way to move through the Bible faster than the software he has used. Leave and come back, and it offers to return you to the same place. The picture on the front is meant to change every quarter. The settings cover a bright mode, text size, and the color of Jesus' words in the Gospels.
The longer plan is a neutral context translation of the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, without the later theological overlays. The New Testament is listed first. The apocrypha, 1 Enoch, and other old books are named as later additions, not as books already there. Click the book name to change books, and click the chapter number to change chapters. The example he opens is Luke 4, which he calls the place where Yhwh tested Jesus, and then Luke 12.
Closing the page and opening it again brings up the offer to continue in the chapter you were reading. The hint about how to navigate is shown once. BibleZip has an X account, and the first passage being prepared for it is John 10:30. The addresses he gives are biblezip.com and bbl.zip.
