BibleZip 2 is the reader this talk walks through, from audio and markup to search and the five questions. The aim is that you can open the text and keep your own notes.

Summary

BibleZip 2 is presented as a reader so you can explore the text yourself, including where to start and a full-screen player that keeps going while you walk away. The spoken Bible is an older God's Word recording taken from cassette, with mismatches where that translation was later revised, and a synthetic voice in his own speaking voice is still being trained. Support is voluntary, and Founders Club is $25 a month.

You can highlight, underline, or note a whole verse, but not a single word yet. Playback can ramp from one speed to another over a set time, then sleep, repeat a book or a chapter, or play a list you build, and the text can keep scrolling with the audio. Search uses a local database of about 30 megabytes.

Five questions ask what Jesus said about Himself, His Father, what He came to do, where He came from, and what will soon take place. After enough tagged answers, more questions unlock, and then you can add your own. Collections hold the notes, and deleting a collection means typing delete. A verse can also be shared as an image, and problems can be sent from the settings.
